ABOUT THE OWNER


Mr. Cavalluzzi is the founder and owner of  CONSOLUTE, LLC engineering consulting services.  His extensive background in engineering dates back to 1978 where he began his career in the robotics field with six years of programming, hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical engineering.  He then spent a few years in mechanical engineering designing and field testing vehicles, trailers and modular equipment for the utility industries. 

In 1988 he joined the largest independent manufacturer of heat transfer products as a manufacturing engineer with responsibility for several plants designing, testing and manufacturing oil coolers, charge air coolers and radiators for the heavy duty and industrial markets.  Working directly with all the major automobile, agriculture, construction and mining equipment manufacturers he honed his engineering skills in lean manufacturing, six-sigma, failure modes and effects analysis, non-destructive testing, ISO and QS quality systems and applied his parametric-solid-model design skills resulting in several patents for new designs. 

After a short venture into the fire suppression field designing, testing and manufacturing valves and sprinklers for residential and industrial applications he spent ten years as an engineering manager in the plastics industry directing product design, testing and manufacture of thermoset and thermoformed components in addition to facilities maintenance and plant  expansions into North and Central America.

Mr. Cavalluzzi formed Consolute, LLC to apply his engineering experience in management, design, manufacturing, testing, cost savings, and site procurement and development to improving the health and profitability of companies by providing a resource in contracted industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, and design engineering project and consulting services.  Recent projects include: process improvement services  and cost savings techniques for plastics manufacturers; site search and procurement consulting for fortune 100 heavy equipment manufacturers into North America, Central America, and Asia; research and development engineering support for a real time engine monitoring and control system for new generation four-stroke snowmobiles; Research and development support for innovative power and data handling concepts for the space platform side of the "Block 12 Space Tracking and Surveillance System (STSS)"; and an automated storage and retrieval system for the dispensing and inventory control of tools and tooling.  Read a few of his recently published articles on engineering and management.
